MORE ABOUT THIS BIKE: Bike in very good condition and ready to run. The bike was rebuild by specialists of Gilera in Italy respecting the code colours and replacement original. Since the restoration only have 20 Km, was used in a classic parade by the last owner and never more used. Maintained in perfect condition, surely that is one of the best units available around the world.

MODEL INFORMATION

Designed on the eve of the Second World War, when only 6 were built, the Saturn entered production in 1946, soon becoming the best-selling model of the entire Gilera production. Its production will continue, in various versions, Tourism, Sport, Military, Competition (road and off-road) the various versions, up to 1958. Until 1950 with rear suspension of the “Patent Gilera” type and at the front a parallelogram fork, then in ’51 the version with telescopic fork and then to follow, the version with swingarm and telescopic rear shocks. Other changes were not made to the chassis, as well as the engine that remained substantially the same for about twenty years.
